Issue 26: Kodaly and Orff Music Teacher’s blog

This is a blog I have been following for a while: http://www.herdingcatsgeorge.blogspot.com/

It is called the Kodaly and Orff Music Teacher’s blog and has some inspirational ideas in it. The current entry has video clips of a couple of pulse/circle games involving passing bean bags or paper cups in time to music.

If you are likely to encounter me at the next Staff Day (you will know who you are!) then you had better get hold of some paper cups and start practising, as this will be my contribution to the next “sharing session”. You have been warned! Here’s a step-step demonstration of the moves: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Grb1oa72kmk
