Issue 48: The Summer Holidays

I have taught the last music lesson of the term – phew!

Now I’m looking at 6 weeks of freedom from the tyranny of timetables with “School’s Out for Summer” ringing in my ears:

I have several projects planned for the holidays:

working on guitar playing skills (especially bar chords), learning to play the ukulele, learning the Grade 8 piano syllabus that I will be teaching next term, getting down to some serious piano practice.

I shall also be having a good look at this website. The Music Jungle will be a year old by the end of the summer, and will have gone from just a few visitors each month to over a thousand, all by word of mouth. I would love to read any suggestions you have for the future development of the Jungle. You can use the “contact us” link to send me your thoughts.
