It features young children watching sport, taking part, and dreaming about a future as an athlete. The background music reflects the aspirational mood of the film.
After watching the film, you could explore how the musical ideas fit, and how effective they are a t communicating the message of the film. It is a new take on the literacy “Writing to persuade” element; as this is clearly “composing to persuade”.
You could then time the length of each section using a stop watch, and then in groups compose music to fit each section.
